Warm Coat Exchange Project
Staying warm when you’re homeless must be hard enough, but when winter descends and the temperature drops, warm coatsĀ are a must.
The Rotary Club of Port Macquarie is raising awareness by developing a Warm Coats Exchange. Ā Rotarians are searching through their wardrobes to find a least one warm coat to donate. Ā A suitable location will be found whereby an Warm Coat Exchange can be established and the homeless of Port Macquarie may collect a coat at no cost.
This project was inspired by a similar project reported on the BBC in the United Kingdom.
