President John awarded a most surprised Dr Ray Hodgson with a PHF .

Ray is our Club’snew International Director. He established the aid mission – Australians forWomen’s Health inNepal. Each year Dr Ray conducts clinics with Nepalese women who suffer from a high level of pelvic organ prolapse & is seeking to raise half a million dollars to build a new hospital in Charikot, in Nepal.

The hospital will have a fourth floor dedicated to teaching the Nepalese how to treat themselves, training local Doctors, Nurses & Health Workers.

The club donated a $1000 US to the Rotary Foundation inhonour of Ray’s PHF. This will be used in the many amazing aid projects Rotary is engaged in worldwide.
