Oscar from Tours

Tonight’s guest speaker was our Inbound Student Oscar Boyer from Tours in France His host club is the Rotary Club of Tours Ronsard in District 1720. (Ronsard was a famous French poet). Oscar told us about France & his home town. Tours is famous for its sparkling wines, nougat & goat’s cheese & has the French champion volley-ball team. There are many beautiful castles around Tours. Oscar’s young sister Clara turned 9 today, so we sang happy birthday. Pictured below is Oscar with Gai Nixon.
