Fun and Fellowship

DG Ian Jackson & his wife Barbara on their official visit
to our club were made feel very welcome by our
members (numbers were down due to many
being overseas). DG Ian gave a very polished
presentation using Power Point on Membership
(when Ian was invited to join Rotary he was taken
to a District Conference & this experience stirred
in him to realise, that although he is only one
person, he can make a difference in the world
through Rotary). He spoke on the Rotary Foundation
& its 100th Anniversary in April 2017 & the
call for every one of the 1.2 million Rotarians
worldwide to donate $26-15 to the Foundation
(this was the first ever Foundation donation 100
years ago). Ian’s recipe for his year is to ENJOY
ROTARY & have fun & fellowship. He also invited
us to his conference in Laurieton in 2017.
