Club donates $1,000 to RAWCS for drought assistance

Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS), while custodians of the above funds, are encouraging clubs to deliver effective projects on the ground. To assist this, $100,000 will be allocated to three existing projects that are already as- sisting farmers. As well, other Rotary clubs are encourage to apply for funding with a proposal on how the funds will be used and what impact they will have. The project relief type should address either fodder, water, household expenses, mental health or other. The criteria on which each project will be as- sessed are governance structure, no admin fees, ability to reach drought affected areas, ability to deliver on the ground, process for determining eligibility and collaboration.
