First Associate Members Inducted
The Rotary Club of Port Macquarie has introduced a new membership category known as Associate Members. There are several aspects of this membership classification.
Firstly – it is a method of including members of the public who are interested in working with and assisting Rotary in its work without having the obligations of full membership. These could be sponsors already in existence or others who are interested. If sponsors their contribution will be recognised in issues of the bulletin and on our website.

Secondly – it will involve a group of younger people who will work with us in introducing a range of younger people into the Rotary world (largely through their expertise in social media) and in recommending Club projects that will be of interest to younger members.
In both cases such Associate members will be receiving the Bulletin and other communications to keep them informed about Rotary and our Club. They will be issued with distinctive badges and will meet on a regular basis and will be invited to attend regular meetings of the club.
