Thinking about joining Rotary?

If you would like to do something for yourself that really does contribute to changing an individual or a whole community's lives for the better then you have come to the right place.

You are personally welcome to attend any one or all of our events and activities.

Our club meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at Panther's in Bay Street, Port Macquarie and we commence the evening at 6:00pm with drinks and fellowship.

There are many ways to join Rotary and there are many avenues of Rotary within which you may find yourself motivated to be involved. Becoming a member is really fun, social and genuinely good for the soul and it also happens to be the best way to gain exposure to the whole complement of possibilities available to you through Rotary’s programs and activities. Rotary Clubs are in every town, city, country and continent and we all work together. No matter where you go you will find belonging and friendship from like minded members ready to unite on projects that really do change people's lives for the better.

At the Rotary Club of Port Macquarie you may choose to: volunteer on fundraising projects, be a volunteer for overseas aid work, design and build parks, playgrounds and sporting facilities, donate to Rotary programs, become a corporate partner or sponsor a child. You may decide to raise funds for another charity organisation that needs help, donate food, send water filtration systems to 3rd world countries, provide mosquito nets to the Pacific islands, build a school, train teachers and nurses, finance medical teams in Nepal, cook a sausage on a BBQ, host a Gala dinner, partake in a trivia night, sell raffle tickets whilst wearing a funny hat ...as you can see the sky is the limit and the limitations of your involvement are set by you.

International Rotary projects focus on the following areas:

Global peace and conflict resolution,
Disease prevention,
Water and sanitation,
Maternal and child health,
Education and literacy and
Economic and community development.

Rotary is about helping others - we call it 'Service above Self' (but we think you’ll have a lot of fun along the way too.)
